On Thursday 3rd June 2010, Abbeyfield Green Lane, Fordingbridge held a Coffee morning with a very special visitor.
Mr Roland Smith, along with his daughter, kindly presented Trevor Biddle, House Chairman of Abbeyfield Wessex, with a cheque for £450 which will greatly benefit the residents. This money was collected instead of floral tributes on the passing of his wife, Mrs. Audrey Smith. Both Mr and Mrs Smith have had long ties with Abbeyfield particularly in Essex where Mrs Smith was a House Chairman.
