Abbeyfield Wessex can offer you a holiday in one of our houses in East Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth in Dorset and the New Forest.

We provide supported, sheltered accommodation for independent elderly people in safe and secure houses run by a House Manager. All houses have a no smoking policy. Each house has between eight and twelve residents and all our residents are over 65.

Perhaps you want to be close to shops, theatres and cinemas, near to the coast or in a rural setting. With a choice of 10 houses, there is sure to be a location to suit you. Every house is individual, while offering the certainty of the Abbeyfield Wessex services and facilities.

Holidays usually are for a minimum of 7 nights, with extra nights bookable, but at some times of the year shorter breaks are available.

A 7 night stay is £280-£300 per person, depending on the location chosen. Included in the cost of your holiday is:

Your own, usually en-suite room, with bed linen and towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and TV.
Two home cooked meals each day and the ingredients to make your own continental style breakfast.
On site staff and 24 hour emergency call system.
An equipped laundry room for your personal washing.
The use of a residents lounge and dining room.

Many houses have beautifully landscaped gardens, car parking and room to store electric buggies and are in the vicinity of local shops and facilities.
