Looking for a change or a break away from home?

Abbeyfield Wessex Society Ltd can offer you a holiday in one of its houses in East Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth in Dorset and the New Forest.

We provide supported , sheltered accommodation for independent elderly people in safe and secure houses run by a House manager. All houses have a no smoking policy.

Each house has between eight and twelve residents and all of our residents are over 65, with the average age currently at 84.

Perhaps you want to be close to shops, theatres and cinemas, near to the coast or in a rural setting. With a choice of 12 houses, there is sure to be a location to suit you.

 Every house is individual, while offering the certainty of the Abbeyfield Wessex Society services and facilities.

 Holidays are for a minimum of 7 nights and for 2007 the cost is £280 per person. You can book additional nights at £40 a night.

Included in the cost of your holiday is:-

Your own, usually en-suite room, with bed linen and towels provided, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and TV.

On site staff and 24 hour emergency call system.

An equipped laundry room for your personal washing.

The use of a residents lounge and dining room.

Many houses have beautifully landscaped gardens, car parking and room to store electric buggies and are in the vicinty of local shops and facilities.
