Volunteers

Volunteers play a unique role at Abbeyfield Wessex and they are at the heart of all that we do. We know that with your help, we can enrich the lives of our residents.
 

As an Abbeyfield volunteer there are many ways in which you can make a difference. Some volunteers, as Trustees of the Society who form the Executive Committee, are central to developing the overriding policy and strategic direction of the Society. Other volunteers are members of the individual House Committees who work with the house staff to ensure the well being of our residents, or become a Friend of Abbeyfield and help in practical ways in one of our houses. Indeed, Abbeyfield could not exist as a Society without the contribution from volunteers.
